* * JP was the organiser of this large and lively group. Our Escape to the Cape tour allowed them to see as much of Cape Town within their time limits. The group then headed off on the second leg of their tour which was Zambia and the Victoria Falls. The group raved about Cape Town, the scenery, the night life, the Waterfront, the beaches and top of the list the friendly Rainbow Nation people. Most are already asking JP to arrange a longer trip next time. *

* * Henry and Harold used to live in South Africa and were members at Durbanville Golf Club where we all played together. They asked us at DiGiT Golf Tours to put together a two week tour for them. This included Cape Town, the Garden Route and as much golf as we could get in. Doug and Colin played with making up four ball on several occassions. The ladies enjoyed some retail therapy and time to catch up with old friends. *

* * With a group of fourteen, this years tour was yet another year of competive golf with most having improved on their previous years handicap. However, some where showing the strain from not having been on the course as much during the previous year. Rob took the award for the best score against his handicap over the five rounds of golf. Gary was the most improved player and nows plays off a 2 handicap. *

* * Out on business to oversee their investment in one of Cape Town's booming film industry ventures, their other objective was four days of golf and three days of African Safari. DiGiT Golf Tours put together a tailor made tour itinerary which included golf at Milnerton, Clovelly, Westlake and Erinvale Golf Courses. This was followed by 3 days at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve where game drives included sights of lions, rhino, buffalo, giraffe and a wide variety of buck. Our clients were very satisfied with the combination of African Safari and the ability to play golf on first class courses. *

* * January 2003 : Alan and Family *
*
*
*
* * * *
* * Having been to Cape Town the year before on business, Alan wanted to bring his family out for a holiday and to play some golf. We arranged for Alan play several rounds of golf, either as part of a four ball with one of us as his partner or as a social game of sixes amongst ourselves. The family enjoyed all the main tourist attractions with Sarah benefitting from the shopping facilities at Century City and Tygervalley. Highlights for the two young boys was Putt-Putt in Sea Point and the Aquarium in the V & A Waterfront. *

* * Gary, Jeff, James, Steve and Andrew work for BUPA in the United Kingdom. They came out and spent a week with us in September. DiGiT Golf Tours had been recommended to the group by one of our previous guests from the UK. They chose our Fairest Cape set tour with a few modifications to meet some of their specific requests (like choice of courses played). *

*
*

* * Peter, Paul, Andrew, John and Neil already had a holiday planned to SA when Peter was introduced to Doug at DiGiT Golf Tours. With 4 of the 5 guys travelling being golfers, it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Old friends from school and university, they regularily get together travelling to exotic and exciting places. Their conclusion was that Cape Town rates top of the list, even better if you want to play golf in an amazing location. *

* * July 2001 : The Third Annual Fairways Tour *
*
*
*
* * * *
* * This tour group is bound together by a group from university days who have since dispersed to all over the world. Over the years this group has expanded to included several of the groups fathers, but therein lies the beauty of golf as it can span the generation gap and yet still be competitive. Fondly referred to as the 'Hackers Tour', this can be misleading as the golf is of a high level and the aim of the tour is a week each year with competitive golf and lots of fun. *
